By incorporating the Brands filter in Takealytics users can now select brands in the Takealytics user interface. Previously this was created by building defined groups for each client but with a growing number of clients looking at wider market trends Brands filtering enables you to select data on any restaurant or grocery brand in the UK market.
How to Use the Brands Filter
Accessing the Feature: If your account is licensed for it, you'll find the Brands button prominently displayed at the top of the Takealytics interface upon logging in.
Selecting Brands for Analysis:
Choosing Your Brands: Click on the Brands button to open a menu where you can select one or more brands for detailed analysis. You can choose as many brands as you like for a comprehensive view.
Applying the Filter: After selection, hit 'Apply' to adjust your reports or export functionalities to only include data from the chosen brands.
Incorporating Independents: Besides well-known chains, the toggle switch in the Brands filter lets you switch focus to independent venues. This is particularly useful if you're interested in analysing local competition or identifying niche market opportunities.
Viewing and Exporting Brand Data
Brand Field in Exports: The Brand field can be included as a column in your exports - simply choose Brands as a field in your Grid Builder reports. This helps you see at a glance which venues belong to a brand and which are independents.
