The Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team, work closely with our clients and sales team. You will need to be a technically focussed individual who has experience working with data and close engagement with clients, (part of the role will involve interacting with current and potential customers via email and video calls). We are rapidly growing startup and as such we are looking for someone with a “can do” attitude who is willing to grow and take on new challenges as our business expands.

• Ability to analyse large datasets, identify trends and build actionable recommendations to customers. For example, a major food delivery customer may have a suspicion that delivery platform rider-supply in a specific geographic area is sub-optimal. You should be able to prove or disprove this using raw delivery-timing data exported from Takealytics to form an evidence-based report suitable for presentation at a high-level to the customer.

• In addition to supporting existing clients you will be working closely with our sales team in pre-sales presentations and deliverables.

• The role will require analysing data and creating insights which will be used as part of the companies marketing. 

• Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization. As a SaaS platform our focus is always on how to make reporting as repeatable and low-overhead as possible. To that end you should be comfortable generating best-practice approaches that become the boilerplate for future reporting. You’ll be encouraged to discuss your concepts in this regard with other senior leaders in our team.

• Work directly with senior members of the team and customers to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.
