Takealytics continually tracks restaurants performance across Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats and in recent weeks we have detected a new cleaner page layout shown on Deliveroo.

The new layout moves the hero image to the left, shows a simpler review score metric and a new clearer menu list.

Current Deliveroo Page Layout

We are pleased to see in addition to making the page view simpler Deliveroo have added a search at the top of the page for searching the menu on that specific venue. This is extremely useful for Grocery retailers - making it easy to find the specific item you are searching for.

Whilst this is good we believe there is ways this could be more intuitive and return items from a category in the search.

In the below example we are searching a grocery retailer for "Beer" but none of the Beer products are returned despite them being in a "Beer" category.

Currently this new layout is in A/B testing with only new venues and selected existing venues adopting the new layout but we expect to see this rolled out across the website and app in the coming weeks.

I think infographic fonts are some of the most underrated because they don’t try to show off but instead focus on usability. Whenever I prepare a presentation or report, these fonts and infographic typography ensure that even complex information looks neat and readable. They’re perfect for projects where precision and understanding are more important than artistic style. For me, they’ve become a go-to option in professional settings.
