New Developments - September '24

As we kick off September, we’re excited to announce several new features that will be rolling out in Takealytics over the coming days.

Sorting by Hero Image in Grid Builder

We’ve introduced a new update to Grid Builder, allowing users to sort by Hero Image, making it easier to spot inconsistencies across your venues. For example, in the case of Starbucks, sorting by Hero Image lets users quickly identify locations using incorrect imagery. In the screenshot below, the first location shows different images on Deliveroo (with a different font size) and Uber Eats, where two summer-themed images are displayed.

Please note this sorting feature is based on the image name and works effectively for Deliveroo and Uber Eats, but not for Just Eat due to the way data is displayed on each platform.

Creating Groups based on Primary Post Code and Location

Users can now create venue groups based on specific locations. You can either use the Post Code mode to include all venues within a primary post code or outer code region, or choose the Location option to find venues within a set radius of a chosen location. These groups are invaluable for analysing performance within your designated territories.

Venue Dashboard to now include Delivery Fee and Minimum Order Value and last seen date.

Users can now track the Delivery Fee and Minimum Order Value for Deliveroo and Just Eat directly within the Venue Dashboard. In addition, by hovering over the Delivery cell, you can quickly check when the venue was last available for delivery. This feature, previously launched in Grid Builder, is now also available in the Venue Dashboard for easier access and tracking.

Venue Group Tags

As clients continue to create more groups in their Takealytics accounts, we’ve introduced a new feature that allows you to add tags to these groups. This enhancement simplifies the organisation of your reporting, making it easier to manage and access your defined venue groups. For instance, some clients use groups to differentiate between Brands and Master Brands, while others organise them based on locations. Following the successful integration of tagging into Saved Reports and positive client feedback, we’ve extended this functionality to Venue Groups as well.

A lot of these features are built as a result of client feedback - if there is anything else you would like to see please let us know.
