Takealytics identified that the Deliveroo platform was not available throughout the UK with restaurants unable to offer food on the platform for around an hour and a half of peak time trading.
A technical issue on the Deliveroo website and app resulted in restaurants being unavailable on the platform. As can be seen in Takealytics, restaurant chains including Zizzi's and Wagamama's entire estates were unavailable.
Whilst for other restaurants, people were reportedly able to order but their choices were not getting through to restaurants, despite money being taken from their accounts.
Takealytics has identified that the issue occurred at around 6:45pm (on Thursday 10th December) and lasted for around 1 hour 30 mins with restaurants becoming available on the platform again at 8:15pm with delivery times back to normal.
